Frogmouth Publishing Combination Mark
“Frogmouth Publishing is a small Australian publishing company established in 2002. They publish the works of Australian authors, as well as classics from around the world. They are known for their visually appealing covers, as they understand that people always judge a book by its cover”.
The bird that inspired the name
This is the combination mark for “Frogmouth Publishing”, a fictional Australian publishing company that I created for my gothic horror book set.
The abstract mark is comprised of the letters “F” and “P” for “Frogmouth Publishing”, and the eyes and beak of the Tawny Frogmouth bird. It was designed to be compact so that it sits nicely on the spine of a book.
The wordmark is simple and clean. I wanted it to look modern and consistent with the abstract mark.
